Cooked with slaked lime and coloured with natural iron oxide pigment this fine washi is dried on wooden boards. The slight texture of the boards is visible on the surface. Great for printmaking, chine-colle, and drawing with ink or graphite. Mitsumata paper was traditionally used in Japan for backing gold leaf. Heritage Washi (HW)
