Over the years, The Japanese Paper Place has amassed a notable collection of works created with and on Japanese papers by artists from all over the world. Artworks from the collection are often presented in our showroom exhibitions and online to illustrate how these exceptional papers respond to a variety of artistic mediums and processes — from lithography to bookbinding to konnyaku. The works of the collection also serve to inspire visitors, staff, artists and makers to try new artmaking techniques on washi.
