Kurotani #56 Blue is handmade in the oldest continuous papermaking village in Japan, where they have been making paper for over 800 years. Made from 100% Japanese kozo fibre with the inclusion of chiri (kozo bark bits) and blue fibres with a touch of red, this washi has a pleasing "organic" look. Strong and absorbent, it is suitable for a wide range of applications, including printmaking, lampmaking, and painting. It would also make a beautiful window covering. Heritage Washi (HW)
