Tomoe River paper has long been favoured by calligraphers and fountain pen users for its exceptionally smooth surface and resistance to ink feathering. It performs beautifully with fountain pens, dip pens, graphite, and coloured pencils, and will also accept light watercolour washes, making these journals especially convenient for travel and everyday sketching.
Each Smyth-sewn journal contains 48 sheets of Tomoe River paper, features a Linen Card cover, and is finished with a decorative Chiyogami paper band. Band patterns vary.
