When durability is your priority for shoji screens or lampshades, this is the paper you need. Coated on both sides with plastic, it is made to last and withstand wear and tear better than traditional shoji papers, while maintaining the natural, warm look of washi. It can also be wiped clean with a cloth for easy maintenance. Similar to Ginwashi Tissue, decorative fibres are embedded throughout, adding texture and visual depth. This product has also been certified as a flame-retardant product by the Japan Fire Retardant Association. Due to its durable coating, it requires a stronger adhesive than typical wood glue, starch glue, or standard double-sided tape.
