A great option for conservators to try roll-format conservation papers in a convenient size. Enclosed is a 1/4 metre square of each of the following 100% kozo washi infused with clay: CON9271 Conservation Kozo Misu 18g and CON2838 Conservation Kozo Misu 30g. The inclusion of clay gives the washi dimensional stability (preventing shrinkage & curling with changing humidity levels) and deters insects. This paper is used in Japan as a backing for scrolls to help them hang flat. More details of individual papers included in the package.
