These swatches of dyed kozo papers are provided by makers from several different families in rural Japan. Most use synthetic direct dyes and colourfastness varies with the colour - blue-greys being the least fade-resistant. These represent the strongest dyed papers possible, and are good for conservation, printmaking of all kinds and bookbinding for covers. A sampler is available with all colours.
All sheets are approximately 25" x 37" with deckle.
Dyelots may vary, and swatch colours may vary slightly on different computers.
